Breeding goals
Our breeding goats are reflected in the additive breeding values of production, namely finishing performance, slaughter performance and meat quality, and the additive breeding value, prolificacy
For the maternal lines in particular, a high priority breeding goal is profitability through large litters with uniform individual piglet weights, high rearing efficiency and good mothering ability and independence of the sows.
Breeding value estimation
Breeding success is demonstrated by breeding value estimation. Breeding values of foundation lines are determined by the BLUP estimation model.
